Switching from monese

Has anyone tried to switch from monese to any bank to get the switch bonus? They state that their account is a current account so I guess it might work?

I doubt it'll work. Monese is "an e-money institution" which "does not currently work with direct debits or standings orders".
Basically, it's a fancy prepaid card with a sort-code and account number attached.0 -
