nPower.. What's the best way forward?

Hi all,
Ok, we have had issues with nPower for 4 years which has now reached the point where we will have to take it to ombudsman. We have different stories on each phone call, one said that our account was sorted and we were in credit now we owe nearly 600 quid. Numbers seem to be plucked out of thin air, they take our reading and completely ignore them. We now apparently have 4 accounts with them.. !!!!!!. We have documented everything, phone calls, figures and have kept every bill. Is the ombudsman the best way forward or is there another route for us? It's utterly ridiculous how we're been treated. Any advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks all
Mark

Pick an account that appears to be in credit / nil balance, try to switch supplier and hope it doesn't get blocked. Once you are away you can then return arguing the odds over the correct bill.
The ombudsman wont cost you anything to try but whether you should put 100% faith in them is another matter.0 -
