A washing machine problem

I have a problem with my HEC 1050W washing machine when I switch it on it does not start , The yellow / red door light flickers 6 or 7 times which indicates that there is some problem

What is the problem and is it possible to fix it or is it worth fixing it or is it time to dump the machine . This machine has not been used much

Also any feedback on HEC washing machines either good or bad welcome

Looking at the manual (follow link) and you will see on about page 21 that there are various errors depending upon how many time the light flickers.

Depends how many times the light flickers (or "glitters" according to the manual):

Error 6: The door lock light glitters 6 times and stops 4 seconds repeatedly
    Timing control silicon damage

Error 7: The door lock light glitters 7 times and stops 4 seconds repeatedly
    Motor overheat protection or damage

    Good luck.

It is 7 times that the light glitters so it must be a Motor overheat protection or damage problem

How do I fix problem with the motor do I need a new motor if I do I guess it would be better to dump the machine and get another one

Also which good quality washing machine at a not to expensive price would you recommend

The holy grail of washing machines.

    I doubt it actually exists.
