Parking Eye parking notice charge

I have recieved a parking charge notice from parking eye today. I've read the newbie thread and the templates, but i'm not sure that the template corresponds to my situation.
I parked in prestatyn retail park on 30/5/16 and overstayed the three hour limit.
I shopped in Tesco, tkmaxx and costa, although i paid in cash and don't have a receipt. In prestatyn town, there is a public car park across the road from the retail park. On this particular day, the car park was hosting a classic car show, so the car park was obviously closed. My husband who is disabled wanted to look at the cars, so we parked on the outskirts of the tesco car park as it was close enough to the car show for my husband to walk. Shopping and looking at the cars exceeded the 3 hour limit. We saw the parking eye signs when we returnd to our car. I have emailed Tesco and Prestatyn town council and am awaiting replies.
I'm obviously going to appeal, but the template talks about obscure signs etc which is not applicable in our case. Do i have a leg o stand on here?
I don't have the money to pay them, and i'm really worried. Thanks.

The Newbie thread deals with EXACTLY your situation. Go back, read it, understand it and any questions, come back here and ask. You will need to do some work and make the effort to research and understand but it should be possible to beat this with appeals.

Wrong. We know what we are advising. Your case is the same as all other PE cases and the signs are always worth mentioning as unclear. Yes we know ''there are signs up'', there are ALWAYS signs up in every single car park so we've no idea why you think this place is special.

Use the blue template appeal, call yourself the keeper, submit an ONLINE appeal (NOT A LETTER).

If your OH has a Blue Badge, attach a photo of both sides of it as evidence and tell PE the occupants of the car 'were shopping but paid cash' and that a passenger was disabled so met the definition of disability and needed longer to shop, a 'reasonable adjustment' of time.

The NEWBIES thread tells you this already, tells you to use the template appeal and add a line about any Blue Badge or disability if applicable.

You just want a POPLA code and anyone who excludes an appeal point about signage, needs their head examining!

BTW, you will get no help at all from the Council so ignore their reply, or lack of reply. This is nothing to do with the Council.

Best you start your own thread if you want help
    This saves any confusion

Pointless talking to the store manager, it is not in their remit

Tesco has a team involved with Parking Issues and so you must email their HO. The question is ... do Tesco want to continue issuing sales receipts to you or would they prefer you started collecting receipts from another retailer

You do know ParkingEye sue people? You can still send them your receipts and get it cancelled, PE should cancel if over £30 was spent.

Just use the ParkingEye contact page as if you were appealing - it's late but with a receipt of over £30 you should find ParkingEye will cancel. Do not give them the silent treatment; they'll issue court papers and if you've had 3 letter then the LBCCC is next.

If you need more help start your own thread from now on.
