Grass showing yellow patches after Evergreen

I applied Evergreen 4-in-1 over my lawn.

After a week it is showing patches of yellow/dry grass symptom at several places :o

Is it anything to do with Evergreen spreading?

I spread it using this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Scotts-Miracle-Gro-EverGreen-Handy-Spreader/dp/B002Q0M5A0

What is the remedy now?
Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.

When did you lay the lawn or grow it from seed?

Are the yellow patches in areas where there were weeds?

Has it been very dry? Has the lawn had any rain on it since you applied the feed? It can scorch the grass if it's not watered in. Or, as above, it could be patches where there were clover or dandelions etc, but you'd see the weeds dying in these patches and it would be obvious.

I'd get the sprinkler out and keep the lawn watered in the evenings. It will recover.

For future reference, & depending on the size of your lawn, I find it cheaper to pay people to treat the lawn than buy the stuff & do it myself. The results are better too.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.
  • Did you spread the feed just after mowing by any chance? If so this is probably your problem - never feed the grass for a few days either side of mowing.

Well given that evergreen is usually in a form that kills weeds it probably has, hence the colour diff.

Of course you may have over dosed it.
