Sponsorted events and gift aid

Hi, our charity recently ran a sponsored event and most of the sponsors ticked the box so we could reclaim gift aid.

When it comes to reclaiming the gift aid, is it a case of listing all the sponsors with their home addresses, post codes etc onto the online system for processing? I'm new to this so not too sure

It is a case of doing whatever HMRC requires these days but that sounds about right. I'm assuming the charity is registered for claiming Gift Aid: you'll need the charity's login details.

Note that without the full address and postcode you can't claim, but if you're without the pc it's not too hard to look them up!

Look at the Gift Aid small donations scheme (GASDS) here, you can claim gift aid on donations less than £20 without a GA declaration.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
