HSBC Credit Card Agreement Request

I need some advice please.
I recently sent a letter into HSBC asking for the original credit agreement from a credit card I had with them a while ago, this was with the intention to see if I had take out PPI witha view to claiming back.
I received a response from them which was a lot of legal blurb, included with the response was a blank credit agreement document, I was expecting a copy of my original agreement.
Can anyone please tell me if this what I should have expected or should I have received a copy of the agreement with all of the details on it.
There is a line in the letter which states "Therefore, the copy of the executed agreement we must supply is a copy but need not be a photocopy of the signed agreement."
I'm not sure what this means but what they have sent is useless, it doesn't tell me anything.
Thanks,
Chris.

The agreement won't tell you if you had PPI.
You need to ask them if you had PPI.0 -
Read carefully complaint procedure advice here:

If the account is closed, the Bank are under no obligation to provide the Agreement and, for your purposes, it is useless anyhow.0 -

On closed accounts you are lucky to get anything. Plus, they are not required to give you anything they hold unless you pay £10 for access. So, getting what you did was lucky.
Although, not sure why you asked for that when it is PPI that you are looking for as it would not be on a credit card agreement.I'm not sure what this means but what they have sent is useless, it doesn't tell me anything.
It may be useless but it is exactly what you asked for.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
