Group ESTA

I have just completed a group ESTA application for my family, all the details were entered correctly for each person, and they have all been approved, however I later realised that my names were transposed on the group ID.

I think that it is the details for the individual applicants within the group which is essential, and the group ID shouldn't matter. I don't want to spend another $56 unnecessarily, at the same time I don't want to be turned away at the airport.

I emailed the ESTA people but they estimated a response in 2-3 weeks!

Has anyone had any experience of this situation?

Don't see why it will make any difference, It wouldn't worry me if it was mine.
  • Just an update on my original post.

I finally received a reply after about 6 weeks saying it would make no difference so long as the individual ones were correct.

Sure enough we had no problems making it to the states.
