Thursday 9th June - What small DFW things will you do today?

Options
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.

Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important!

Make the Change some kind of satay?

Zig Good luck to your son. You are right about life being overly complicated these days for kids.

Cat keep going. Think of those glorious 6 weeks!

LegoMum sounds like the perfect moment in the sun being you.

    Hello everyone :)

I feel like I've unpicked another knot in my life today. I had found a website that looked helpful for the sale but having spoken to them they arent quite the thing. But the sales guy was super helpful explaining things like 'goodwill' as a concept when selling a business. Im clueless having never done it before. And he has put me onto a website called Daltons that is like ebay for selling a business essentially. I had a quick look and it seems juat what I need. I need to now get them to come and do a valuation. Which makes me feel very anxious but excited at the same time. Its like that bit on antiques roadahow where people sit with baited breath waiting for their bit of tat to be worth a million ;)

I really hope I get some interest...

Have a meeting with the accountant next tuesday and have started the ball rolling with the solicitor. Think the valuation is the key though for all the pieces to come together.

    Enjoy the sun

It's been quiet on here lately - everyone must be as busy as me at the moment.
Fingers crossed for your ds Ziggy - I hope his football trial has gone well.
I'm off to pick dd up from cheer in a few minutes but then I need to sit down and do some more marking.
