which do members find best - B and Q, Focus or Wickes -(Okay , which is the cheapest?)

Wickes every time. Then B&Q if Wickes don't have it, or it's more of a "DIY supermarket" than a "building supplier" thing.
For example, I need a new venetian blind for Mum's kitchen. I will try Wickes first, but I won't be too surprised if they don't have them (because of all the sizes and colours they would have to stock) and I have to go to B&Q.The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

Wickes.
Not necessarily the cheapest but generally better quality. Got some planed wood from there early in the summer, and even though you get less than B&Q for the same price, I found it a lot better to work with.
Plus there's a nice Wickes Extra a little nearer to me than the slightly grotty B&Q!0 -
& depending what you're buying, Homebase on 10% discount weekends & in conjunction with their Spend & Save card.
& if you're a new home mover, Focus 10% off for 6months card.
