Paying for glasses on disability benefits

Does anyone know how one would get a discount for a new pair of glasses if on benefits? I'm currently on DLA/ESA, I looked into it and asked an optician who said I would get vouchers to count against the total cost, but I don't know what the value would be and how you would go about getting them. I didn't know the last time and paid full price.

You can get a voucher every couple of years on income based ESA.

Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

The value depends on your prescription, the more it costs to manufacture the more the voucher will cover.
You would show them your entitlement letter for the benefit that qualifies you. I assume your on income based ESA? If so its that letter.0 -
