o2 - count as 2 direct debits?

Hey,
I'm going to switch to the Halifax reward current account which needs two direct debits. The only one I have is for my mobile.
With 02 refresh, they take two separate payments, 1 to payback the phone and 1 to pay for my calls etc.
Will this count as the 2 direct debits I need to get the monthly bonus or do they have to be to different companies?
Thanks,
K

Do the 2 separate payments come from the one direct debit or are there two direct debit instructions?
You can have 2 contracts with 2 different direct debits with the same company and they'll appear as two.
Easy way around it though is to just set up a Tesco Internet Saver and you've got yourself one more direct debit that will be taken every month.
I've got a TalkTalk direct debit but as the line rental was paid upfront to save money the only time it's used is if I actually make a non-inclusive call which is almost never as all UK calls are included. It generally does not count as an active direct debit.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)

Well they were set up at the same time for 1 phone but they are listed on my statements as separate payments. They always go out on the same day and they are for different amounts.Save 12K in 2017 #023 = £1345/ £6000 (22.41%)

Under "More Actions -> Direct Debit and Standing Orders -> Manage Direct Debits" are there two instructions listed under direct debit details?:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)

I have had just 2 O2 DDs out in April, and the £5 was paid to me on 3rd May.
One DD is for the data plan, the other for the device.
Both DDs had "O2" in them, followed by "GED" and a bunch of numbers. The numbers were different at the end.
Hope that helps...Goals
