I don't think you realise the comedy value that you bring to this forum.
You have no self awareness and it's hilarious. You're querying why a homeowner from England is commenting on house prices. Yet you're a self confessed forever renter living in a HMO in Scotland angrily slating home owners that have an interest re house prices in England.
Did you find Trump and Brexit hilarious? Good. Like I said, with such an avid interest in house prices why don`t you frequent the main boards (I can guess why you don`t go to HPC :rotfl:) why lurk about where six or seven people just rant away all day about how good the bubble is? You don`t really have anything to say about house prices, just bad things to say about people who don`t like high house prices.0 -

Tried posting on HPC, none of my posts got made visible. That was before I was even a homeowner. Strange that. It's confirmation bias only over there or you're not allowed to post.
I've not seen a house price debate on the main board. It's almost like there is a board tailor made for debating house prices. :rotfl: I wonder if I should post there......
You're right I don't have much to say about house prices. But when I see a lunatic posting absolute nonesene with absolute certainty I can't help but comment.
As Bertrand Russel once said "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wise people so full of doubt."0 -
The reason I and many others don't go on main board is the same reason you shouldn't and that is because this is just speculation and people go there for advice not speculation masquerading as fact.
Really? I thought it was because having their little HPI forever dreams shot down in front of 600 people was harder to take than bouncing off six people that share the same view?0 -

Absolute rubbish, plenty people are on there telling posters that their crash dreams are b*ollox every day, you should try again, the debate is much wider than here.0 -

Maybe you should try and make a new profile with some opposing views and see what happens. This was 6 years ago before I even owned any property so mayne the moderator back then was a lunatic. But what I've just posted is 100% genuine no matter how much you might wish it was untrue. In reality it's a little bubble of people all agreeing with themselves. Unlike here where people who are proven wrong about house prices for years are still allowed to post.hint hint I mean you.
Best go, location location location is on. You can scream at the TV for the next hr.0 -

Nice country house in Gloucestershire Phil Spencer showed there.
Couple of acres of land and a utility room twice the size of Crashy's 'flat'. :rotfl:Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

I have made opposing arguments with my existing profile, for example that HMRC doesn`t have the will or the means to really chase down landlords for tax, so no point pinning hopes on that for a crash, and that personally I don`t care if landlords declare tax or not, got some stick but nothing happened in the way you say.0 -

Yep, but the latest shows are more focussed on getting the sellers to reduce from what I have seen, so even LLL gets it........:rotfl:0 -
