Wok Pan stand not level on new hob

This is the actual description as advertised on amazon
"Stainless Steel 5 Burner Gas Hob with Triple Crown Wok burner"
The support arms do not join in the centre, over the double burner, in order to leave space for the wok's curved bottom to fit in over the flames. There are lots of hobs with burner rings like this with the term wok burner used to describe them in the promotional literature. I am guessing you do not have one.
Often they come with a separate wok ring to be fixed on top but this did not. So before I bought it, I went online at amazon and asked, in the questions section about this particular hob, if it was indeed suitable for a wok or needed a wok ring. Two people replied that it was fine for woks and they used it without a wok ring. In my case, because the support arms are misaligned, no large pans balance on it correctly, not just woks.
The c/h engineer was round this morning some work on the kitchen and I asked his opinion. After looking at it carefully he said it was a manufacturing fault as it was clearly not welded correctly and made pans on it rock.0
