Well it was, it's your responsibility to ensure you have the documents required for travel.0 -

On the other hand, if the check in staff at Miami were at fault because you truly needed no visa for Belgium, you need to complain to that airline rather than Kiwi.com.Evolution, not revolution0 -

I searched for a ticket from Columbus Ohio to Tunis. I found many I liked the price that Kiwi.com Offers and I checked every thing and I also read about Visa. I bought the Ticket. the rout was Ohio to Florida then second day to Belgium and to last destination to Tunis. I used the fist trip from Ohio to Florida second day morning I showed up early and it took from the TUI airline 4 hours to get back to me and said that sorry we cant take you you don't have a visa I said I don't need visa Belgium is not my destination I showed them the ticket from Ohio to Tunis so I am not going to Enter Belgium and I don't have check-in bags with me just the carry on bag. but Airlines still wont give me boarding pass I called Kiwi.com please help. their answer was short It wasn't our Mistake it was my mistake. I replayed no I put my start trip to my destination which is Tunis. The Kiwi.com said We only much the rout. Basically Kiwi don't care about the customer
the Tickets Kiwi.com Gave them to me were different airlines
From Ohio to Florida Allgian Airlines and I used it.
from Florida to Belgium I couldn't use it.
from Belgium to Tunis I couldn't use it also.
This is the disadvantage of the Kiwi.com way of doing things. You are putting together several one-way tickets and so need valid travel documents for all the countries through which you will pass: the usual arrangements for international transit passengers will not be available to you.
I know of people who were caught out in the same way: they were British citizens travelling from Cambodia to the UK and were unable to use their tickets because they could not transit through an airport in India.0 -
I had same problem as lady above, wouldnt let me get on my connecting flight from delhi to kathmandhu as different airline and they werent accepting transit passengers anymore. i spent 24hours in delhi aiport departure lounge, and they have offered me a pathetic $114 compensation, when my new flight alone cost double that. im taking legal action0

Do you have a British passport?
If 'yes', please share your experiences when you have a result of that legal action.
If 'no', as this is a UK website, it probably won't be much use to anybody.0 -
The worst experience I ever had with any service provider ! 16 hours since made the reservation and payment and no confirmation on the flight ! although the passengers include children and a mother going on several trips for surgery and medical follow up ! I explained the critical situation to 4 agents from the kiwi.com after 1, 3, 5 and 16 hours since reservation !!! they did not even record the customer complaints, set priority for emergency cases or the critical consequences ! where on the earth in 2017 you need 16 hours to get a reservation confirmed ?! They even did not offer any solution since it was almost mid night and there is no enough fund in my account to make another reservation with more respectful service ! I had to wait extra hours to arrange funds ! I had screenshots for these conversations to proof the low level of customer care they have in this terrible kiwi.com ! Moreover, I found out they take 20% from the original price ! I bought from them in SAR 2648, cancelled then bought directly from the air company at SAR 2206 !!!0

Got fed up of your multiple posts on TripAdvisor being removed so you've moved onto MSE to resurrect a dead thread?0 -

Might be my fault:The person who started this thread (almost a year ago) hasn't been back on here since the beginning of 2017 so I doubt you'll get an answer.
I think your best bet is to post on the Air Travel board of Tripadvisor as that is a global website, MSE is UK.
It does sound odd that you were refused boarding in Florida as you didn't have a visa for Belgium.
Were you intending to leave the airport at Belgium or just be in transit?
If you had to leave the airport - even to change terminals for your flight to Tunis, I think you would probably have needed a visa.
It would be good if you tell TA what nationality passport you have and try to include as much relevant information as possible.0 -
I booked a multiple-flight journey through Kiwi from Pula, Croatia to Philadelphia, USA. I turned up at Pula airport to find out my flight had been cancelled, meaning I would miss the remaining flights of my journey as well.
Stranded late at night, I spent an hour and a half attempting to reach Kiwi's "24/7" customer service before realising the only way I could get to Philadelphia in time was to catch an overnight 6-hour bus to another city and purchase an entirely new flight. I eventually got in contact with Kiwi, and was told I would be charged €20 for a "voluntary" refund. I told them this was ridiculous, as none of this was voluntary at all.
The following day another employee emails me to apologise for the incorrect information, and asks that I forward receipts, stating, "we will refund you your expenses for the alternative flights". I do so, thinking that everything will be okay in the end.
Two weeks later I am refunded for the initial Kiwi booking only, and question what happened to the refund of the extra ticket I was forced to book (which cost three times more than I ever intended to pay). An employee replies to apologise for the "confusion", and states that Kiwi was never going to refund my extra flight. I tell her to refer to the email I received that stated the exact opposite.
I am asked for the same receipt I have already provided, and told I must wait another 30 days for my case to be reviewed.
And so today, six weeks after this disaster, I am finally informed that Kiwi will not be refunding me any more money. They lied to me, they caused me to lose money I could not afford, and they have wasted six weeks of my time providing me with inconsistent information. Anyone who books through Kiwi takes the same risk. They do not care for their customers and they do not stay true to their word.
Never again in my entire life will I go near this absolute joke of a company.0 -

Sorry you've lost money, but had you done even 10 seconds of research before giving your money to any random company you would have avoided them like the plague.0
