Can you post PIP envelope in normal post box?

Hi guys
at last I have gotten round to filling in the dreaded pip forms,
I have included all ASD assessment, the genetic report and information I have (there isn't much because his condition is so rare)
and also my sons latest social services assessment oh and also a print out of all my sons needs from the GP. I really hope this is enough.

My question is, is it ok to post this large envelope in a conventional post box as usually if it is a large letter you have to pay, I wouldn't want it to not be sent because it is too large.

Also how long do you normally have to wait for a decision?

Any advice appreciated
Sammy

It is OK as it's a pre paid envelope. However, it would be prudent to take it to the post office and get proof of posting, which doesn't cost anything.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

I agree with Ames. However I would also add - if you're at all worried, you can add on 'recorded delivery' for about £1 extra and that means the letter has been signed for, so you can track and prove that it has been received. I don't know if this is the norm, but I've always done it, felt better for it and never had an issue :)

    Good luck x

I posted mine special delivery @£6 - recorded is not tracked till it arrives and is signed for. I have lost many recorded letters.
Also photocopy everything you send in to refer back to at a later date.
