Is it a UK solicitor or a French solicitor that has written to you?
Edited to add:
I now see the word 'solicitor' has been dropped from your original post.
Have you received a solicitor's letter or not?0 -

Post 4, along with post 1, has since been edited so I wasn't privy to that information before posting.
EDIT: but if you'd like to gain some insight into this thread then PM me. I feel a bit guilty posting it publicly for any tom !!!! and harry to see.0 -

Finally, if the vehicle was registered in the UK, you must notify the DVLA that the vehicle has been permanently exported by sending them the tear-off export slip from the V5C registration document.
Touring Caravans are not registered by the DVLA and don't have a V5C or any similar document. The closest thing they have to this is CRIS registeration which is completely volentary and is run by a private company!0 -
