That might be whats causing the crashes - if the CPU is hot already, then the extra effort maybe tipping it over the edge...“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0 -
First of all thankyou everyone for your comments..especially "phoodless"...it was the TEMPERATURE...causing all the errors..did not do the mem tst.Since its been around 52 oC mark (A ok) NO BSOD.
However i do have 2 questions that could be useful to others as well;
1..at the moment iam using asus probe to read the temps"
but been advised this may not be so relable..what are the alternatives?
2..how do i get more space on my "c" drive from my "d" drive?..0 -

I use a free utility called SpeedFan. It gives temperatures, fan speeds and voltages.2..how do i get more space on my "c" drive from my "d" drive?..
ok - assuming that the C & D drives are partitions on the same physical hard drive:-
I use a utility called Partition Manager by Paragon Software. This link will take you to a page where the software can be downloaded. Half way down the page is a link to a Paragon page where the software can be registered.
I registered mine free of charge and have full functionality. It was a while ago though, so can't guarantee the links still work. ( PS: Ignore the reference to "time limited demo" - there is no time limit once registered )
It's not the easiest software to use, but read the help files and it should do the trick.
