I have just visited two local branches of tyre fitting companies.
I need a tyre for my Landrover Disco, Protyres quoted £149.67 so I went to Halfords Garage who quoted £ 129.65.
I Came back home and sourced Black Circle Tyres on the Internet. Paid for the tyre £109.00 and they arrange for it to be sent to a local company, you have a choice, where it is fitted.
Guess where I have to go?........ Protyres who had quoted £149.67 for thr exact same tyre.:T

I use a company call Event Tyres who will come to your home or work and are a lot cheaper than the high street fitters. Never had a problem with them and great prices.

If you just need one getting a good second hand tyre fitted is an option.

Did that on my Pathfinder and got two nearly new Goodyear Wranglers for under £100.

I have bought several tyres from Oponeo and they are well priced if you can get them fitted locally for a sensible price

Local independant. Fitted my caravan tyres cheaper than i could order them online. Pneus were £45 posted so fitting was extra. I got the pair fitted and balanced for £80.

And unlike some places that say its a caravan they dont need balancing they just said of course they do when i mentioned it. So bonus points for that.

They are always competetive for my car tyres also.
