This underscores the importance of having the right inclusive allowance covering all of the calls you make to family and friends and to businesses, financial services and public services (on 01, 02 and 03 numbers). The out-of-allowance price changes should be utterly irrelevant to almost everyone.0

I'd like to see how people get on with haggling their unlimited data plans because no provider has such plan now after 3 kicked most people off it. Even at the new price it's a steal.0

I was approached by a colleague for Virgin media claiming I could sign up for a 'friends and family' deal where the price would never rise for the term of my contract. Obviously I signed up and the guy on the phone confirmed the same. Less than 3 months in and it jumped more than £10pm.
I have tried to raise this with customer services who say there is no record of the deal on my account and therefore cannot do anything. I'm really cross and feel very cheated. Any advice/tips? They say the only way to cancel is to pay the remainder of the contract upfront but obviously I'm not going to do that.0
