Hi
We are staying in the centre of Aberdeen for two nights. Can someone recommend a good place for a greasy fry up for brekkie and a good pub for food in the evening please.
Thanks.

Sadly most if not all of the good-old greasy spoons have gone from central Aberdeen.
If you venture down King St or Holburn St you might find something appropriate though and FTM you can still get a good fry-up at the Beach cafes.
The rather run-down cafe in the back of the New Market did do a reasonable fry-up for not lot the last time I was in there but that was a couple of years ago.
Most recently, the best cooked breakfast I've had in the City Centre was from DiMaggios on the upper deck of the St Nicholas Centre - whith a good choice of cooked breakfast favourites and reasonable price/vs amount options and served till 11:30 am 7-days.
Pubs - you have a better choice. Illicit Still on Marischal St always did decent value pub food and their upstairs room has recently become a "Boozy Cow" - the first outlet of an expanding but local Grill/BBQ chain, I've not eaten in the two Brewdog pubs but I'm told they are good and there are plenty of good Curry/Chinese/Thai places around the centre. Rose St/Chapel St area has some of the best. Revolution on Belmont St can be good and Ma Camerons on Little Belmont St and The Globe Inn on South Silver St are solid performers for traditional pub favourites.0 -
Thanks - that's great, we're only there for two nights, so I guess we could eat fruit for brekkie and be healthy!“It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living.”
