Cant believe I am the first to post a reply - I must be getting good at this.

    Tom - out for lunch
Mon - Lamb chops new pots & veg
Tues - Saus mash & veg
    Wed - hm pizza
Thurs - roast gammon (done in slow cooker first)
    Fri - Chicken wraps

I definately find menu planning much easier when the weather is cooler. Only need to pop out for some fruit, veg and a couple of packed lunch bits.

Sunday: burgers in buns, with blue cheese and caramelised onions for grownups, chips and salad

    Overpayments to date: £3000
    June grocery challenge: 400/600
  • Sunday fish risotto (possibly)
Monday Leeks and beans, veg sausages
    Tuesday daal and pitta bread
Wednesday Tuna and harricott bean pasta
    Thursday Leeks and beans
Friday Tuna and harricott bean pasta

Bit of repetition there, but both are based on what I have, they're cheap, don't freeze well... and I'm way out of pocket after buying stuff for my new flat.

However, my new flat has a brilliant grocer 10 mins away - bought lots of veg for under £2 :D
