Noise-cancelling, bluetooth, wireless headphones that don't cost the earth!

As the title suggests really. Looking for a birthday present for my husband, he wears headphones all day at work so wants some which will last, and ideally are noise-cancelling so he can block out office noises. They need to be wireless as he ruined a previous pair by running his office chair over the wire, and apparently bluetooth is needed to use them on flights?

I found a Sony pair for £99 which had everything, and were reasonably well-reviewed, apart from the sound quality (notably the bass) not being as good as a more expensive Bose pair. I'd rather not sacrifice the sound quality for the sake of the other features if possible, so I'm hoping someone can suggest a good all-rounder.

Any suggestions or recommendations gratefully received!
