Noise-cancelling, bluetooth, wireless headphones that don't cost the earth!

As the title suggests really. Looking for a birthday present for my husband, he wears headphones all day at work so wants some which will last, and ideally are noise-cancelling so he can block out office noises. They need to be wireless as he ruined a previous pair by running his office chair over the wire, and apparently bluetooth is needed to use them on flights?
I found a Sony pair for £99 which had everything, and were reasonably well-reviewed, apart from the sound quality (notably the bass) not being as good as a more expensive Bose pair. I'd rather not sacrifice the sound quality for the sake of the other features if possible, so I'm hoping someone can suggest a good all-rounder.
Any suggestions or recommendations gratefully received!

I personally feel this is about the right size in a office environment.
There is a £124 AKG Y50BT with 20hrs battery. It would be down to you to consider if it worth pay extra.
Or Read this if you have time0 -
Aldi are doing bluetooth ones for £20 this Thursday, not sure if they're noise reduction though.0

No, they aren't.Aldi are doing bluetooth ones for £20 this Thursday; not sure if they're noise reduction though.
And they appear to be Bluetooth only, not 'wireless'.
But they are "luxury"! :rotfl:0 -
What does your husband use headphones with?
I can recommend Turtle Beach as a brand - they have some expensive sets, but also quite a few under £100. I have a pair of wireless Turtle Beach noise cancelling headphones and they sound amazing. To err is human, but it is against company policy.0 -
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll take a look at them all this evening.
He mostly uses them on his work pc, but he also wants to use them while flying or travelling so they need to be able to connect to his iphone too.0
