how much are you paying for conveyancing 3 bed terrace?

looking at selling ours at a figure over 400K. how much should the fees be for conveyancing? thanks everso!

    At least £750 plus vat and disbursements in my area. Assuming freehold and not in London!
    Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck :)

    Selling only, freehold.

    £654 inc vat. plus £9 office copy / disbursements. plus £26.40 for chaps money transfer x 2 (mortgage repayment and proceeds to you).

    Possibly may be some extras if things are very much out of the ordinary for any reason.

    But that's my local Solicitor here in Eastern England.

    Others here are not too dissimilar price wise.

    :p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
