Chimney repair

Options
Hi,

We have a 4 bed detached with a chimney stack at the back of the house that is not in use but needs repairing.

The stack itself is around 20 courses high. The top 5-6 courses are looking rather worse for wear and looking out of place with the rest of the stack.

I don't want the expense of completely removing the chimney - it's at the back of the house and serves no purpose so I just want it tidied up & maybe have the top 5-6 courses removed and the top made good.

I'm not good with heights otherwise I'd get on a ladder, throw the bricks onto the patio and chuck some chicken wire over the top. That's all I'm really looking to do.

Anyone have any thoughts on what it might cost me to have something like this done?

Cheers
