The promoter is Fiat Chrysler Automobiles UK Ltd trading as Fiat Professional (the “Promoter”). By entering this promotion, you (the “Participant”) agree to these terms and conditions, which will at that time become binding between you and the Promoter. Your participation in the promotion is in consideration for the Promoter allowing you to enter it and giving you the opportunity to win a prize.
The Fiat Professional Tradesman Trials Promotion (the “Promotion”) is open to United Kingdom residents currently employed or self employed in a trade operating in the United Kingdom who are aged 18 years or over, excluding employees or their immediate families of the Promoter, its associated agents or anyone else professionally associated with the administration of the Promotion.
The Promotion opens on 25th April 2016 and closes at 11.59pm on 12th June 2016.
This Promotion offers Participants the chance to win a trial with a Football League club and £2000.00 by submitting footballing videos to the Fiat Professional Tradesman Challenge (the “Video(s).” These Videos will feature in a gallery of videos (the “Gallery”) hosted on the “Tradesman Trials Website” (http://www.tradesmantrials.co.uk and http://fiat-professional-tradesman-trials.co.uk) and “Fiat Professional Website” (http://www.fiatprofessional.co.uk). In addition, Participants have the chance for their Video to feature in Fiat Professional’s marketing materials (“Marketing Materials”) which includes, but is not limited to:
One or more appearances in a series of Fiat Professional online compilation videos which will be hosted by the Promoter online and through wider media partners’ outlets.
The websites and social media pages of the Promoter and the Promoter’s Partners.
Online, film, radio and TV advertising.
PR materials, including but not limited to press releases.
A Video submitted by a Participant may be featured in the Gallery or used in any one of the above Marketing Materials or across multiple materials, at the Promoter’s sole discretion. The Promoter will be under no obligation to use any Video that does not meet the requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions.
The Gallery and/or Marketing Materials may also include images and videos obtained by the Promoter as part of this Promotion including those of Participants.
Participants must enter the Promotion via the Tradesman Trials website (http://www.tradesmantrials.co.uk and http://fiat-professional-tradesman-trials.co.uk), which may be accessed directly or via the Promoter’s Partners’ own websites on which the Fiat Professional Website will be embedded.
Participants must create and submit a Video uploaded to YouTube, showcasing their footballing skills. The Video will feature the Participant’s football skills, but may show multiple players and will not feature any third party automobile brands on Participant’s clothing, advertising hoardings or key objects visible in the video.
The Participant confirms that they own the Video and its copyright, they are the individual featured in the Video, they have the consent of all individuals, who must all be 18 years of age or older, featured in the Video for the Video to be successfully entered into the Promotion and have given their permission for the Video to be used for the purposes outlined below.
Any Entry through unconnected third parties is invalid. A syndicated Entry or multiple Entries via script processes or the use of automated devices or processes or any multiple entry attempts by any other means will not be accepted. Any Entry received via this method will be disqualified and be deemed invalid.
Entrants, if selected, will be offered the chance to attend the Fiat Professional Tradesman Trials Day (Trials Day) on 23rd or 24th June 2016, at a Central England venue to be confirmed and solely communicated to the selected pa.
Trials Day Selection Process:
Each Participant acknowledges and agrees that by submitting their Video, they are applying for the opportunity to be selected to attend the Trials Day.
Entries will be judged by the Promoter and the Promoter’s football ambassadors. The final selection of Participants will be invited to attend the Trials Day.
In determining whether an entry is suitable to be selected for the Trials Day, the Promoter, shall, in its sole discretion consider footballing skills and techniques featured in the Video, demonstrating that the footballer has potential to attain the level of a professional Football League footballer, as well as the uniqueness of any goal scored, the quality of the Video footage and the featured encapsulation of the Fiat Professional Tradesman Challenge spirit.
The selection process will be undertaken at the Promoter’s sole discretion who cannot guarantee that any particular Entry will be reviewed. The Promoter reserves the right to review and not use any Entry it deems to be non-compliant with the criteria outlined. The decision of the Promoter is final in relation to all Trials Day selection related matters.
All entries must be submitted before the competition close date of 11.59pm 12th June 2016. Any entries submitted after the closing date, will not be considered for selection for the Fiat Professional Tradesman Trials.
Those Participants selected by the Promoter to attend the Trials Day will be contacted before 15th June 2016 and must be available to attend and are responsible for their own travel to the venue.
Fiat Professional Tradesman Trials Day Winner selection:
Participants selected to compete at the Day will be assessed in trial sessions by a team of Football League club scouts and the Promoter’s footballing ambassadors, who will select at their sole discretion who is the most worthy of the prize of a month’s trial at a Football League Club.
The selected winner of the 1(one) month trial period at a Football League club will be notified at the conclusion of the Trials Day.
Selecting the Football League Club:
The eventual winner of the Trials Day will have the choice of any one of the participating Football League clubs to undertake their trial.
The participating Football League clubs are as follows (and are :
Sky Bet Championship - Fulham, Huddersfield, Ipswich Town, Millwall, Rotherham, Preston North End, Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Sky Bet League One - Barnsley, Blackpool, Burton Albion, Chesterfield, Colchester United, Coventry City, Fleetwood Town, Oldham Athletic, Rochdale, S!!!!horpe United, Shrewsbury Town.
Sky Bet League Two - Accrington Stanley, Crawley Town, Hartlepool United, Newport County, Notts County, Oxford United, Plymouth Argyle, Portsmouth, Stevenage, Wycombe Wanderers.
The Prize:
A cash prize of £2000.00. The winner is responsible for any taxation or taxable benefit which the prize may generate.
Upon selection of club, the winner will be assessed by the coaching staff at the chosen club and assigned to the appropriate squad to start their one month’s trial.
The chosen club will provide the winner with housing and subsistence for the period of the trial equivalent to their club trainees.
The Promoter, The Football League and the chosen Football League club provide no guarantee that the winning trialist will spend any time with or in the first team squad or have any obligation to offer a full-time contract to the trialist once the trial period is completed. The trialist will be assigned to the most appropriate squad for their level of ability.
The Promoter, The Football League and the chosen Football League club may terminate the trial at their sole discretion, in the event that the trialist acts or behaves in a manner that brings the all or any of them into disrepute.
The offer of a full-time contract to the trialist at the end of the trial will be at the sole discretion of the chosen Football League club.
GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
The prize is non-transferable. No cash alternative is available.
Winners may be requested to provide proof of identity and household address (utility bill, driving licence) and must have the right to work within the United Kingdom. Failure to do so may result in prize entitlement being withdrawn.
The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any technical problems arising from the use of the Fiat Professional or the Promoter’s Partners’ websites during the Promotion or any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission; communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alterations of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including, but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention or impersonation, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to: (a) disqualify any individual who interferes with the entry process; or (b) take any action that may be available, including subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
No purchase is necessary in order to enter the promotion. There is no fee charged to enter this promotion other than the cost of you accessing the Internet that you would otherwise have.
Winners agree to allow the Promoter to use their name, likeness and story for advertising and publicity purposes without additional consent or remuneration. Participants hereby consent to participate in any reasonable publicity accompanying and resulting from the Promotion required on behalf of the Promoter if so requested. This includes the display of Participants’ names on the Fiat Professional Website (http://www.fiatprofessional.co.uk), social media channels and third party platforms without recompense.
Participants will ensure that any and all Videos which they submit do not contain material or content which:
is or is likely to cause offence (for example, which is obscene, discriminatory or otherwise offensive);
infringes the rights (including any intellectual property rights) of any third party such as branding, logos, trademarks or copyrights; or
is derogatory of any third party or of the Promoter.
The Promoter shall have absolute discretion not to include in this promotion any video which it considers contains any content or material of the kind mentioned in paragraphs a-c above.
By entering this promotion, Participants acknowledge and confirm that:
they own the rights (including copyright) in the Video which they are submitting and assign absolutely all such rights in the Video to Promoter; and
any persons featured in the Video or involved in the making of the Video have consented to the Participant submitting the Video to the Promoter for use in connection with this promotion.
These terms and conditions, and any instructions from the Promoter, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Promoter, superseding any prior agreements between you and the Promoter. Any failure or delay by the Promoter in exercising or enforcing, or partial exercise or enforcement of, any right or provision of these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision (or waive any further exercise or enforcement) or any other right or provision. If any provision of these terms and conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavour to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision and the other provisions of the terms and conditions will remain in full force and effect.

Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence, or in respect of fraud, and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from:
any postponement or cancellation of the promotion which is beyond its reasonable control; or
any act or default of any third party supplier.
The Promoter may terminate these terms and conditions or any prize if you do not comply with any of these terms and conditions or are unlikely to do so, or if any circumstances beyond the Promoter’ reasonable control prevent or restrict the Promoter or any other person or party from providing the prizes or any aspect of the prizes.
The Promoter’s decisions regarding all promotional matters will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter is not responsible for incorrect or invalid contact data submitted by the Participant.
The terms and conditions shall be exclusively governed by the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
