What can I expect at a meeting to discuss my ongoing absence from work?

Thank you, yes I also agreed to a doctor's assessment, although they only wanted details from my own doc, not anything else at the moment. I'm going to look into ESA. I'm concerned about leaving work and losing my tax credits(single parent) so have been wondering if I can find a different job(sitting down rather than standing up all the time) for 16 hours. Once on ESA are you allowed to work at all? Stupid question maybe, but I think I could manage some hours a week at the current job, just not enough for working tax credits. Obviously with children I can't afford to be losing money
It's been hard on sick pay. On the other hand I'm not sure I can manage my current job at all some days as it's customer focussed and on my feet all the time. Debts Jan 2014 £20,108.34

Just wanted to say as well, as redundancy has been mentioned a couple of times, even if you are able to hang on past the 2 years that this would not be a redundancy situation.
Redundancy is where the position itself is surplus to requirements, rather than here where it's about the individual's ability to carry out the role. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
