Why is it a trick, its a simple enough question

Which you were asked ie Do you want PPI. If this is the case you mean then you would have answered yes,,,,,

No miss sale there.. Why did you say yes to it if you didnt want it ?????

    MIss bought, not miss sold.

If you had PPI on it, it would have been on a seperate line on your statement every single month that you would have got through the post

If you have no records, then you will have to contact Barclaycard.

The Sky credit card never 'went over to Barclays' as such, it always was Barclays. Barclaycard issued branded Sky cards for a while, before Sky got bored and ended the relationship.

I have activated a number of cards over the years but have never paid PPI. There is no trick as there is a useful word you can use if offered something by a sales rep. "no".

There are no recorded instances of people being "tricked" into taking PPI by simply calling a number to "activate" their credit cards.

If you had PPI on your Sky-branded Barclaycard, it would have shown up on every monthly statement itemised on a separate line. The insurance wasn't somehow "hidden" , that isn't what the mis-selling scandal is about,

So, if you don't know if you had PPI, your first port of call should be to ask Barclaycard directly. However, if they (and you) no longer hold any records of your finance, then any complaint you might make is already a dead duck.
