MBNA Junk Emails

Anyone getting fed up with MBNA's deluge of junk mail?
"Your statement is ready"
"A payment is due shortly"
"Confirmation of payment received"
"Your offers this month ...."
I have three MBNA cards and I'm so plssed off with one of them that I've changed my email to a non-existent account, so that's sorted that one.
However, on my MBNA Diamond Club card I've just got an email telling me a payment is due shortly - the first such email I've had on this account - but looking further down the blurb it seems they've decided to put me on paperless statements. Now I almost deleted this message on site, so there's a good chance I wouldn't have known about this; without my permission they have, apparently, decided I should go paperless.
Anyone else had this problem?

Sorry, you've lost me. The issue I'm complaining about is that they've apparently moved me from paper billing to online statements without asking me. They told me about it in an email that would only take two seconds to delete.0 -

They send me e mails even though I get paper statements - its no big deal.
You must have pressed a button at some stage either on one of the emails or in their log in page to change to paperless statements.
2 seconds to reverse this online.0 -

Definitely haven't done this. I set up online account access ages ago but never used it and have long since forgotten the passwords. There may have been some button on an email, but I don't recall it, and if there was, it's a pretty sneaky way of going about things. I wouldn't mind, but in addition to the ever increasing volume of emails they also send me junk mail in the post; at least one letter a month for each of the three accounts I hold. Try stopping this junk mail from MBNA - you can't. They insist on sending it, claiming that it's to service your account.0 -

Maybe I'm misinterpreting what MBNA are saying:

As far as I'm concerned the account is not paperless. I suppose this could be read in two ways. I'll just have to see what happens next month, and if a statement doesn't turn up --- I'll have to phone them.0 -
Emails whilst can be irritating, cost nothing to delete except a little time. I'd rather they were sent. You could always setup a mail filter that deletes them automatically if you choose.
That said, does anyone know how to stop them from physically posting 0% offers, when the account is already paperless? I can't for the life of me, and it drives me nuts knowing that they must be posting thousands of offer letters every couple of months to people that are quite happy to have them emailed.0
