Hello, just wondered if anyone can check the fairness of the quote. Had hoped to get three quotes but it is proving difficult
So nice chap came the other evening and he has quoted £2,450 to do the following.
Background - new build property, side gate, freshly turfed
1) I have asked to extend the existing patio (using the standard new build buff textured slabs) by a further 25 slabs (45cm x 45cm)
2) 10 foot by 12 foot new patio (same slabs) in the corner of the garden
3) A sleeper raised flower bed along the side and back of the patio (into the corner) - he will fill with topsoil
4) separate BBQ area midway between the two patios of around 9 slabs (45cm x 45cm)
5) stepping slabs from existing patio to new patio and one or two to the BBQ area (guess 10 slabs)
Quote includes, ground prep, materials supplied, labour, removal debris etc.
Is this a fair quote? - south east Many thanks

You need to get other quotes to get a comparison. People on here will only be guessing.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

phill99 is spot on. Get 3 quotes for exactly the same works.
However, also look at previous jobs as you may well choose to pay more for what you perceive to be a better installer?0
