Norfolk, Suffolk & Essex recommendations for 2 adults for 3 days

Can anyone advise what would be suitable for 2 adults to do and see for 3 days?
We will be attending an event at Rockingham on a Sunday and another event at Brands Hatch the following Saturday so we want to be arriving in the vicinity of Brands Hatch on the Friday evening. We thought we would travel in the direction of the east coast and were wondering what we could do for 3 of the 5 days because we researched online and found the following 2 things which interested us, Merrivale Model Village, Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth and Amazona Zoo, Hall Road, Cromer. I am sure there is someone living in the areas we will be travelling through who could recommend something for us or perhaps someone has travelled this route and could make relevant recommendations.

Southwold is a must see. Perfect English seaside town, great beach, beach huts, in town lighthouse, Adnams brewery and a pier containing the maddest amusement arcade ever.0
