Halifax Taking DD

I have a Halifax MasterCard and have been paying the minimum monthly payment via DD, but I decided to make a payment on the credit card for £1000 about 2 months ago, since then Halifax hasn't taken any DD, but I still have a balance of £800 on the card. Is there any reason why they wouldn't keep taking the DD payment?

I'd imagine the same message is on your statement?If you have a direct debit set up, one-off payments received at least two full working days before the day your payment is due will reduce or stop the direct debit from leaving your account for that month.
Are you sure that 2 payment due dates have passed without a payment being collected by DD, or just the one?0 -

What did the second statement say about taking the DD ? Is the DD still showing as active in the bank account ?0
