Bathroom on a budget

Right, so now I'm left with no choice but to completely remodel my bathroom. I'm more than prepared to spend the absolute minimum on it, plain value white tiles, cheapest suite I can find etc.

However, having virtually no plumbing or tiling skills, how can I cut the cost of getting it fitted?

Any advice on bathroom design on a budget would be welcomed, any bargains you've seen recently, any new of experience of contractors in the W London/Middx/Berks area would be useful.

I have a feeling that an extractor will be required too, any idea on how to do this cheaply?

A contract 3 piece bathroom suite £199. Tiles free off freecycle. But with regards to the extractor, I'm reliably informed that it is not the sort of thing you should do on your own. Cost about £250 depending of if it is roof mounted or wall mounted and depending on your electrics.
My OH is in bathrooms and kitchens, so I can ask all the questions you'd like
