I think companies have realised that they get a far better response too from social media giveaways even when the prize is incredibly low value! So I can see from their point of view why give something away worth £1000 on their webpage when they can give something away on FB worth 10 quid and grow their page by thousands of likes instead! There still is a core group of compers that only comp on social media - I'm happy for them to have the fish slices etc.. lol
