amounts in dispute

Last year (September) I raised a dispute with my credit card company over a charge by the notorious On The Beach travel firm. The charge was reveres but still appears at the foot of mys statements as "amount in dispute".

Does anyone know how long these amounts stay in dispute before the charge is either cancelled or reinstated?

The only people who can give you an honest answer is the credit card company.

They probably left it in dispute status by mistake if they have already given you your money back-call them to clarify.
