Are post office credit card customer services a few people sitting in a room without a clue? This is the impression I have after four telephone calls, all with conflicting information, all questions are met with I don't know, or I don't know which department does know, and all calls are ended with you will need to wait and see and you can make a complaint which can take 8 weeks to investigate.

Despite the good offer, I am resigned to not using their card any longer as the customer service is so dire. My real question is does anyone have experience of contacting someone who can answer a question never mind resolve anything?

Thanks

It's Bank of Ireland, not Post Office, you're trying to deal with isn't it?

What questions do you want answering that aren't already answered online, or in information already sent to you if you're already a customer?

Yes you are correct it is Bank of Ireland, however I don't know if this is a separate customer service section, and have no experience of BoI usual customer service.

The questions are particular to my account which is why I need to contact them and not find the answer online.

I know what you mean, when I had a PO credit card whenever I rang up to ask anything they would tell me to go to a Post Office with full ID and ask there.

Kind of pointless having a telephone helpdesk really.

I feel your pain, I have been there... took a few months but I got £200 compensation & closed the account down once they resolved my issue. You need to speak to the team in Bristol - I will see if I have their number on file and will PM you if I do

Thanks that would be good, so far the service has been dire.
