probably pre-owned, but if you call Nintendo they can tell you how to unlock it.0 -
I can't get mine working on our wireless router WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK.
Is this because it's not WEP, I'm a bit confused

Just to confirm, it absolutely DOES NOT work on both the DS and the DS Lite.
Just to confirm you are completely WRONG. (Not going to bother with the bold like you).
The DS version will work with the DS and the DS lite.
The DS lite version will work with only the DS lite.
And yeah, you do not need the browser memory expansion to go online with either system.~Diminutive0 -
Thanks OP, I picked up 2 DS lite versions today In Plymouth, one for my wife's and one for mine.
Both DS Lites don't see my wireless router though.
Set up as WEP (broadcast on), but when the DS searches it doesn't see my wireless router (access point).
Anyone has this problem?
I did have a look at the nintendo wifi page but didn't see anything obvious.
I realise this isn't anything to do with the browser and memory pack bought today as the DS lite has wifi built in etc. Still new to DS so thought someone may be able to spread some light on this.0 -

some routers are not recognised by the DS lite. for example, i have a LINKSYS BEFW11S which is not recognised but the NETGEAR 834 (free from sky broadband) works fine.Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today!
Cos if you do it today and like it...You can do it again tomorrow..

Thanks, it's looking like my wireless router, I'll e-mail Nintendo to see if my wireless router is compatible or not.
As a sanity check I popped down to Mc Donalds this morning and both DS's could see the "cloud" hot spot that they have.
At least they are working anyway.
I just need to sort out my router.0 -
So, I have wifi at home and a DS lite. And an M3. Do I need anything else to go online (not to play games but to do internet stuff??
