Used car nightmare
Purchased a car from A dealer approx 20 days ago. Been back and forth three times already.
Scratches appearing that were hidden, broken drivers seat frame, squeaky brakes and tyre sensors not detected fault keeps appearing on dash.
This is a one year old car. Booked in to get fixed last week and came out looking exactly the same. Claimed the sensors were fine and a tyre must be losing air but they can't see any leaks so just to keep resetting it on the vehicle settings.
Tyre sensors not detected fault on again a day later!
What are my chances of being able to reject this car? I'm still within 30 days of purchasing.

Have they fixed the "broken driver's seat frame"? Surely squeaky brakes and a faulty TPMS aren't major enough problems to warrant a rejection of the vehicle?0

It would (IMO) depend on how old the car is and what it's been used for previously.💙💛 💔0 -

The new consumer laws give the right to reject with just one attempt to fix the fault.0 -
They haven't fixed any of the faults, went in for repair and just got fobbed off with excuses.
They claim there's nothing wrong with the sensors when the system clearly states there is so they obviously have no intention of fixing it.
Surely I can get a refund under the new consumer rights act 20150 -
broken seat frame = unsafe0

Google for a template for rejecting the car. Return car and leave the keys witht the dealer. Did u use finance?0
