I'm not saying it's easy, but if you remind yourself that there is an end date in sight (break it down if you need to - I know I've only got a month until another module is out of the way, 9 months until this year is done, and after that I'll be in my final year.
Yes, I second this! I know I have (over 3 years) 18 modules, each with an essay. I have done 5, so only 13 essays to do then I have those letters and the fancy hat and batman cape

Are you still with the OU?
I was using the term "classroom hours" quite flippantly I know, I mean attendance. And no, I am with a brick uni.0 -

I'm afraid your full time/not full time description is a bit confusing.0 -

I attend uni for part time hours but am completing the degree at full time rate.

I am not quite sure how else to explain
I attend university for 8 hours a week which is part time. I however am completing the degree in 3 years which is the full time rate.
Does that make more sense?

Sorry, I haven't come across that before, that's why I was questioning it. Wouldn't it be easier just to do it as a full time course?
And also apologies to the OP for going OT.:o0 -

Yes I expect it would if I did not have children and a career to consider
Yes sorry OP, but if your degree is 2 evenings a week, but only 3 years, it may be considered the same as I have described.0 -
emsywoo123 wrote: »I do not get any of that personally; it depends on the number of hours the degree is counted at.
For example, I am studying at full time rate (Honours degree over 3 years) but the number of hours in a classroom per week are not enough to qualify for any assistance.
What funding don't you get? Turion fee loan? Maintenance loan?Newly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -
When I did my degree OH and I negotiated jobs. He picked shopping and cooking, I did cleaning, washing and ironing.
It worked well. Uni terms are reasonably short anyway. I found I had quite a bit of time for major essays etc while the kids were still in school.Member #14 of SKI-ers club
Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.
