The Preston branch of BHS is set to close within the week.
The fashion, furniture and homeware store is currently in the middle of its 50% off closing-down sale ahead of its closure on Saturday July 23. The Fishergate branch will be one of the first to shut.
The chain began its gradual disappearance from the high street last month after administrators failed to find a buyer. Administrator Duff & Phelps said that 8,000 permanent jobs are likely to be lost and another 3,000 not directly employed by BHS are also at risk.0 -

A key Hartlepool store is set to close its doors for the last time this weekend.
The British Home Stores (BHS) shop in Middleton Grange Shopping Centre has been announced as one of the first 20 stores in the fashion chain to close.We are saddened to hear the administrators for BHS have announced they are closing 20 stores, which will impact around 600 staffIt will stop trading on Saturday, which comes just over a month after it was revealed BHS was to disappear from Britain’s high streets.
