Car Lease Advice
Hi all,
My 3 year lease of my Mercedes C Class ends on the 1st of July. Is it worth me getting jobs done on the car (e.g. alloys reburbished, minor chips sorted etc) before I hand the car back or will they consider things like this to be normal wear and tear?
Also, apparently I can sell the car myself - something called Car Lease disposal? How does it work?
Any help would be appreciated.
Kind regards
Nick

Have a read of your agreement, if you leased the car then it will never be yours. If you have an option to pay a balloon payment at the end then see what its currently worth, if its more than the balloon payment then get a loan and buy it then sell it for more, or keep it.
On your agreement you will read about fair wear and tear, if your wear and tear/damage is as described then only get the damage repaired properly not done on the cheap as when the car goes back they will try and charge you for it.0 -
The bvrla produce a booklet trying to determine fair wear and tear, which should match with what your lease comoany should assess.0
