Nationwide FlexDirect 5%
http://www.nationwide.co.uk/products/current-accounts/our-current-accounts/overview
"This rate is fixed for the first 12 months, subject to if you pay in £1,000 each month (excluding transfers from any Nationwide account held by you or anyone else)."
Meaning, I wouldn't be able to transfer money from my LLoyds Club to there to meet the 1k per month!
Unless I am misunderstanding ...
EDIT: Yes I misunderstood!! It states excluding internal transfers from within Nationwide owned by me or anyone else .... but transf. from other accounts is allowed.
Although, after 12 month the rate will drop from 5% to 1%

By Jove I think he's got it!
It is for a year only, but it's then a very useful account for a potential switch in a year.0 -
If you haven't already got the Club Lloyds Monthly Saver, stop and reconsider, as the rate for new accounts dropped to 3% on Monday.
All accounts opened before then will get 4% for the full year.Eco Miser

No, did not open one as I did not have Lloyds Club
only recently applied for it tho'
And yes, noticed Club Monthly Saver has dropped the rate
ah well.
I just went a long and applied for 5 cards - and worrying that I might not be using them to full extend and end up with a crappy credit score - saying that as I might be getting a load from Lloyds - £85K
ahh what have I done to myself ...0 -
Getting a card and not using it doesn't give you bad credit history (your score is irrelevant.0

BUKI is still confusing Cards with Current Accounts;)
Anyone replying, and being unaware of this, risks adding to the confusion:cool:0
