Tax credits help

Hi, hope someone can help me with Tax credits.
I have done our renewal for this year and i have just logged in to check my payment for next week and its saying £32, its normally £131 a week.
Our income for 2014/15 was £21,000, i wasn't working but partner was. For 2015/16 our joint income was £30,000. I had a job for the past year but left in febuary so obviously our income for the past year is alot higher than it normally is but now i have left obviously our income for this year will be alot less than that.
Is there anything that i can do as i rely heavily on that money and that is a massive drop for me. I am looking for a job but really struggling to find one that will fit around our children. Been for a couple of interviews but nothing came of them. We have 3 children.
I understand why it has gone down so much but my point is that figure was when we were earning alot more and we wont be getting that this year. In the short term i have no wages coming in, partners wages will be less and now less tax credits too.
Thanks in advance for any help

What do you expect your income to be for this year? Do you think your income might go up later in the year?

Hi,
No it was the actual figure for my partners self employed earnings and my income for the year from employment.

I dont know its difficult to estimate with partner being self employed it depends on who he's working for and the weather (He's a builder) but at a guess i would say between £21,000 and £25,0000

You'll need to update an estimated income for this tax year so they can recalculate the claim. It's better to overestimate to avoid overpayments.0
