Hi all,

I have a Halifax Clarity CC. Do you know if i can pay off a bank loan (With Santander)?

Then i want to do a CC transfer to the AA CC i have which is 24 months at 0%.

Is this possible?

You'll need a money transfer option.

Take a cash withdrawal over the branch counter.

You'll need a healthy limit though, because Halifax have a 50% cash limit.

Thanks, I'll look into the cash advance, i will try and see if i can up my limit on my card if they only allow 50% of the limit.

I see i can withdraw £500 per day, so will need 8 days worth of withdrawals. Interest is charged form day of withdrawal so i need to get my AA transfer done as soon as i can from the last withdrawal.

    Are CC transfers usually quick?

**I'll also look to see if they do have a money transfer option.

If you can't get a limit increase, since you have a 3 month BT window on the AA card, you could 'rinse and repeat' until you have the requisite £4K funds in your hand.
