Good luck with this one Britannia Parking...

http://www.derbyshiretimes.co.uk/news/picture-travellers-set-up-camp-on-chesterfield-car-park-1-7942041

There's around 30 caravans on site now, rubbish is piling up and there is no sign of them moving.

Given they can't get their Notice to Keeper documents POFA compliant, I somehow doubt that they will be able to "follow the legal procedure required to remove them from the site."

Best order some more of those windscreen tickets.

They'll bemoan the loss of income but no doubt stand well back and leave the dirty and expensive work of eviction to the landowner.

Perhaps the landowner could sue the PPC for failing to manage their car park.

I'm sure there are plenty of other private car parks where long term parking is available for just £85.

How messed up the private parking industry is I wouldn't be surprised if somewhere in the contract they have signed the landowner is liable for the loss of income suffered by the PPC if they can't have access to their cash cow.

Perhaps some of the more tenacious PPC may do that, but Britannia couldn't find their own butt with both hands, let alone a find a clause like that in their terms of engagement.

Very likely; the PPC issues tickets, travellers refuse to pay, landowner cancels PCN's if they promise to leave, PPC charges for the cancellations.

Travellers will just ignore them anyway; I mean, where is the NTK going to go?

Registered keeper addresses at very large houses in Ireland, so a waste of time on both counts?

Most of the vehicles I can see parked there are UK registered, although it would appear that some registration cloning may be going on as the DVLA data differs slightly to the vehicle in question.

It takes a keen eye to notice the difference between an L2 and L3 transit dropside...
