Benefits nd Savings.

Hi,
I would be grateful for any help regarding this matter:My husband and I are on income support.How much savings can you have in the bank for a married couple without it effecting your income support benefits.

    up to £6000 no effect on benefits for every £250 over the £6000 you lose £1 a week in benefits.
    so if you had £10000 you would get a £16 deduction per week
    over £16000 you won't be entitled to income support,
