Doesn't matter - I keep saying to other posters too, if you email that Morrisons email - and complain saying you are a M's customer and very annoyed - they will cancel. That's why I gave you that email which goes direct to CS Head Office staff who routinely cancel these. Email them now and you should have it cancelled this coming week.PRIVATE 'PCN'? I have just emailed Morrisons....will keep u posted0

No reply from Morrisons so called yesterday and was told they 'were going to sort it out' as the deadline to pay the invoice by PE is today.
Got an email back saying; don't pay the fine now. This is still ongoing with Parking Eye and we will contact you as soon as we have a resolution.0 -
Sounds like the tail is still wagging the pooch at Morrisons. Impecunious as Morrisons is they could still stump up the six-figure sum required to get out of their PE contracts if they really wanted to send the right kind of message to all their ex- and soon-to-be-ex-customers.0

I read somewhere that many supermarkets often have a first offence policy in their parking contracts. That means a parking firm must send you a warning letter if that the first time your vehicle has been noted overstaying.
Worth a try.
Your best bet is the retailer initially.
Parking Eye will reject all appeals they always do with no reasoning as to why!!! They did with our case and I won at POPLA appeal so it doesnt happen.
I got one from Horizon Parking and sent a template letter/ emailed the retailer and they canceled my ticket twice on both counts. They seem more sensible the PE! They get a good appeal that shows appellants have done their research and don't bother with POPLA (£27.50 plus admin costs to them)
PE are automated numbers people who just hope you lose your nerve and pay up!0 -

How would they know when it's a second overstay? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Be nice but these scammers will not take any notice, they are scammers only with no respect for anyone let alone a policy they agreed with .... even if they did.
Scammers can only be treated as scammers, they are low life0
