Parking Eye

Options
Hi

I received a invoice from Parking Eye
Date of event 7/5/16
Date issued 12/5/16

I only received the invoice on Saturday 20th May

They are saying my 14 days to pay the fine at the reduced amount is finished on 26/5/16.

I will formulate a reply to the appeal as per the sticky thread, but I only received the invoice on 26/5/16 so how can they say the invoice was issued on 12/5/16 when I only received it on 20/5/16.

Is there anything that can be done about this?

Thanks

Nothing, unfortunately. PE use iMail and their post arrives a week later than it is dated.

But you were not going to be paying anyway so the 14 days meant nothing. NOTHING.

    its not a fine

    its an invoice

as its all dated within the 14 days for POFA2012, just use the blue text appeal online and appeal as KEEPER

no admissions, stick to the template appeal

I will submit an appeal to Parking Eye. Does this have to be as detailed as the POPLA appeal?

You can still be identified from your photo by PE. (Car park is shown along with your exact entry and leaving times)

I can confirm that PE letters arrive a somewhere around 13 days after the date on the letter you receive. I had 2 recently.

Have you complained to the store manager/CEO yet telling them you and your family will become ex-customers if it isn't cancelled? If not, you should do that in addition to appealing as already advised. If the manager/CEO doesn't cancel it, shop elsewhere and send the manager/CEO your receipt as proof that you have deserted Morrisons.

    Morrisons have a major problem.

In my area ever since Morrisons took on Parking Eye, their car park is always half empty.

Morrisons really cannot expect loyalty whilst these vermin operate their car parks

The CEO of Morrisons is living in the clouds if he thinks business will increase ... who would shop at Morrisons ... nobody I know would

All you have to do apart from submitting an appeal, is complain to Morrisons Head Office by email:

    donotreply@morrisonsplc.co.uk

They WILL cancel it. That email addy does work. Easy. Even without a receipt (but best if you show one or two).
