Direct Debit on BarclayPlus Account

Hi,
A family member's got a BarclayPlus account which gives you a full VISA Debit (Connect) Card. On his statements it says:
Main reason I'm asking is in some places, Paypal says you may get a return charge if a bank details are wrong.

You should be able to, im with Halifax and they let you.
Although it is useful to have Online Banking for Direct Debits as you can easily cancel it.Hi, I've already asked and been granted for permission via PM for a Help for Heroes link. Pfft.
