Can I claim PPI misselling on a 20 year old bank account?

I had a personal account linked to a business account with Lloyds Bank both of which were closed 20 years ago. Prior to me closing the accounts I also held a personal loan with Lloyds and following a financial review with the bank in the early 90's, I was persuaded (bullied) into re-financing the loan in order to add PPI. I've recently decided to persue the bank over this misselling but I no longer have the account numbers. I've contacted the bank but to no avail. Can anyone offer me advice as to how I can find out old account numbers etc so I can move this forward if possible? Mant thanks in advance...

If you cant find details and the bank cant then its game over. If you dont believe the bank then you can spend £10 and do a data subject access request.
Lloyds did put the account number on the bank statements for the loan payment. So, if you have old statements, then that is one way.
